Not everyone wants the smartest of smart phones. Believe it or not, some just want to make or receive a phone call! When it comes to the basics, seniors come into mind. Many seniors want a cell phone plan as a potential lifeline when disaster strikes. Many of those same seniors are “technophobes,” afraid of the latest and greatest technology. This means they simply need a phone that is easy to use and gets the job done without all the bells and whistles.
Cell phone companies have been keen to this market and their requirements. Many have responded with education or design that caters specifically to the senior market.
When shopping for that next senior friendly phone keep these points in mind:
- It’s a communication device: multimedia features aren’t as necessary or important.
